Synopsis

Carrisa and Cassandra are best friends tragically separated by a car accident. One lives. The other becomes a restless spirit caught between the heavens and earth, longing for vengeance. As Cassandra’s ghostly presence deepens, it haunts Carrisa with a concerning, curious closeness.

They draw the interest of Boi, a Mien man and practitioner of Mien’s ancient shamanic traditions. Cassandra is recognized as a chinn-thighh—a wandering spirit—and Boi aims to lead her to the afterlife. But Cassandra’s spirit is not one that will easily let go.

Capable of possessing Carrisa’s body, she blurs the lines between friendship and possession, life and death, forcing Carrisa into a terrifying path of vengeance.
